The former Harvard running back would have quite the college career. Houston will have to give Shampklin carries, the back is explosive and shifty.
About the player: Aaron Shampklin, Running back
Height and weight: Five foot Ten inches (5’10”) 180 pounds
Age: 23 Years old
College Career
At Harvard, Shampklin would play in 29 games and record an outstanding 2251 yards with 23 touchdowns on 402 rushing attempts. Those are pretty great numbers for the Harvard back, he is very good in the passing attack as well. Aaron Shampklin would record 29 receptions for 296 with three touchdowns. Aaron can do it all, whether it is running over guys or juking people out of their cleats.
Game film review:
Very good vision, Do not let this guy get into the open field because good luck catching him. This kid is incredible and will continue to perform at a higher level. The Harvard back would leave his mark and would move his way to the Pros.
Professional Career:
The Indianapolis Colts would waive Aaron Shampklin however, that wouldn’t be the end of his career. It is just getting started in that case.
The Houston Gamblers of the USFL are giving the Harvard Running back the chance to prove himself and have the chance to perform. Houston found quite the gem and hopefully, he will continue to improve.
