New England was a game changer for me. Being in that facility around all those great players and coaches and staff really opened my eyes about the NFL and how much of a blessing it is to be there.

Question two: What did you learn in New England?

During my time in New England, I honestly learned a lot. From how to prepare for an opponent, to recognizing schemes and route combinations; Also just being around those veterans you kind of pick up on how consistent they are with everything. From film study, to in game techniques, to diets and recovery. So being there for my first year in the league definitely allowed me to learn just what it takes to be a dominate player and franchise.

Question three: What’s it like playing the USFL?

Playing in the USFL is a blessing for me! It’s given me another opportunity to play this game. I didn’t get to play meaningful snaps of football in the last couple years, so actually playing a game and having to prepare for an opponent has been very fun and exciting.

I would say the play style is a little different than the NFL. Obviously there are several rules that are different between the leagues but definitely the play styles and the type of offenses we have to go against.

The USFL to me is a token of growth. This league gives those guys that are may be overlooked due to circumstances or opportunities a second shot to showcase that we have developed as players and men.
