Height and Weight: 6 foot 2 inches (6’2”) 205 pounds


The Sophomore QB didn’t record any stats in the 2021 season however, he is a rising star on the team. Once given the opportunity he is going to be special, Brown University is in a good place.


Film Breakdown offseason 2022-23:

The left-handed QB has a rocket for an arm and can make any throw. The perfect touch on the deep ball is very accurate. The QB is looking healthy ahead of the 2023 season for Brown University.


Highschool film was incredible, and the Deerfield Academy 2021 graduate was special. Dicks is very good outside of the pocket and has good speed. Very comfortable in the pocket, when it’s a clean pocket Cortland Dicks delivers perfect passes left and right. Under pressure Cortland still delivers great passes, very strong in the pocket.

What Brown University tought him

“What I’ve learned so far from Brown is just you have to be prepared and ready at all times and learning that sometimes the results you want may not be the outcome but how you respond to those set backs is where you grow the most on and off the field.” Dicks Said


The QB would touchbase on what he wants to improve this upcoming season how he will help.

“This upcoming I plan to help the team out by consistently coming into the office prepared, locked in, and the best version of myself day in and day out.”

The QB would quickly add on

“My goals for this season are to vocally be more present than past seasons and continue my quest to be more consistent everyday in all aspects of the game than I was the day before.”


Cortland Dicks would talk about how he improved this offseason


“This off-season I put in a lot of work on cleaning up on my footwork and having it always coming to balance, I have become extremely detailed in how my body feels after every throw to ensure that I can be the best version of myself.”


The young Brown QB would have a message to the fans.


“College fans should expect for me to be a player who first loves game more than anything and always make decisions that best suit the team and when opportunities present themselves in practice or games I will fully take advantage of them.”
