DelVon Hardaway the 6’0 198 pounds speedy wideout from Fresno State and now Pittsburg Mauler wide receiver is a stellar athlete. Let’s take a look at his college career.
The college career of Hardaway was a good one for sure. The 6’0 wideout college career was from 2014-2018, in the career of Hardaway the wideout recorded 43 receptions for 497 yards with 2 touchdowns. The wideout played a total of 44 games. The best year of the college career of the wideout was in 2014, he had the most receptions that season at 23, he had the most yards of his career 279 while adding 2 touchdowns. The wideout had a very impressive 2014 season. I talked to Hardaway about his 2014 season and what it was like and he said “2014 was good it was my RS Freshman year I had worked really hard that prior year sitting and watching guys like Devante Adams & Derek Carr up close. So I was very eager to contribute.”
Moving forward to the Pros, DelVon Hardaway was drafted in the 16th round of the USFL draft. DelVon Hardaway was stellar in the USFL 2022 season. The wideout would record 23 receptions for 288 yards. I talked to Hardaway about what the first season was like in the USFL, He would say “Year 1 in the USFL was a great experience and acknowledgment of what I know I’m capable of and what I can do. I played every spot throughout the Reciever room for multiple games at each so I learned everything about the system and how each position is utilized in our offense. I also gained a lot of confidence week in and week out, making plays for the team and doing everything I could possible to help win games.”
I asked Hardaway what he worked on improving this off-season and what he prepared for Hardaway said “This off-season I improved on everything. Every tool is sharpened and I am ready to showcase my abilities and skill. My confidence is at an all-time high, my body feels amazing, and I am ready to compete. I am ready to when I Championship for Pittsburgh.” Delvon Hardaway is very determined to win a championship for Pittsburgh and will continue to strive to be great!
