What a pick, the New England Patriots land one of the shiftiest wide receivers in the 2023 NFL draft. Demario Douglas is a great punt returner and a very excellent route runner. A diamond in the rough for New England.

40-Yard Dash: 4.44 Seconds. Thoughts -> The Speed showed in the 40. Amazing speed.
10-Yard Spilt: 1.54 Seconds. Thoughts -> Quick burst, Shifty routes.
Vertical Jump: 39.5”. Thoughts -> A great vertical.
Broad Jump: 11’ 2”. Thoughts -> Man. The kid is an athlete.
College Career
The kid can do it all on special teams or the offensive side of the football. The receiving stats caught scouts' attention in 2022 as well as mine. The 5’8 Shifty wideout would record 79 receptions for 993 yards with 6 touchdowns. Not the only thing the kid can do, Douglas also had 5 rushing attempts for 105 yards with a touchdown. On special teams, Demario Douglas set up the offense for great scoring opportunities. The WR would get 14 kickoffs and would record 291 yards, pretty solid. The kid is an athlete and should fit in with New England’s offensive scheme.
