A name you may have heard of a few times, Devin Funchess a former Wide receiver and tight end in the NFL is looking to switch to Basketball. Let’s look back at the amazing Football Career of the 6’4 WR/TE.

Funchess was drafted in the second round by the Carolina Panthers, this is where his career started. In 2017 Funchess had a breakout season, and it was a truly memorable season. The WR would play in 16 games and would record 63 receptions for 840 yards with 8 touchdowns. Funchess was a key part of that 2017 Panther offense. That was a special season for the wideout.

Some more recent news, in 2022 the WR/TE would get another chance with the Detroit Lions and would do very well in the preseason. However, it wasn't enough to make the final roster, unfortunately.

I got the chance to talk with the former Wideout and Tightend.

Devin would reflect on his NFL career

The 6’4 wideout would add to that and talk about what was one of the most memorable moments in the NFL

“Most memorable moments have to be the catch in Super Bowl and my Washington catch.”
