Elijah Barnwell, The NFL draft prospect from the University of Maine. The 5’11 218 pound running back is a powerful running back that’ll beat you with his speed or his power or even Both. A truly well-rounded back and is hungry for a chance to prove his skills.
Barnwell would talk about what makes him different compared to other players.
“I believe my ability to pass protect for the QB and my ability to catch out of the backfield from the RB position and my ability to make people miss in tight spaces and always fall forward makes me unique compared to competition. I believe that separates me from other RBs: the ability to not lose yards on any run play and manage to always get to line of scrimmage or positive yards is what helps my opportunity of playing at next level.”
Barnwell was very solid in his senior year at UMaine. Out of 11 games played. The running back would have 133 attempts for 630 yards while adding 7 touchdowns. The running back averages 57.3 yards a game. The Running back would also average 4.7 yards a carry. Very solid numbers from the UMaine back.
The running back would reflect on his senior season.

Elijah Barnwell will be attending the UMaine Proday, it should be a great opportunity for all the players to showcase their talents in front of NFL scouts. The 5’11 back is definitely going to turn some heads and will continue to grow.

“At the Umaine Proday, I’m looking to showcase my speed and show that I can run linear & lateral with best in the country from a time basis. Show my agility and how I move at the RB position. Showcase my hands and ability in space with the football.”
