Jerrish Halsey is 2023 NFL draft prospect. The 5’10 160-pound wideout is quick and has a great release. Halsey got some reps in the HBCU legacy game as a Special teams gunner, Halsey is working on improving every skill he has.
I asked him what his draft process is and he said
“My draft prep I train with out train performance in Delaware I eat right and drink water.”
Jerrish Halsey played his college ball at Delaware State University. The wideout would play on special teams as a kick returner. Looking at the 2022 Kick Return stats, Halsey would have five attempts at returning and would get 97 yards off returns. The speedy wideout would Average 19.4 yards an attempt. Halsey would play amazingly on offense. In 2022 out of nine games the wideout would record 22 receptions for 423 yards while adding four touchdowns. The 5’10 wideout would average 47.0 yards a game.
Halsey and I would talk about that last season at Delaware State University, The Standout wide receiver would say “My last year at Delaware state was okay I had 422 yards four touchdowns and 22 catches I was fortunate enough to be named 3rd team all conference.”
After Halsey great college season he got the chance to play in the HBCU Legacy game, A once in a life time experience. The 5'10 wideout would touch base on the game and what it provided for him and many other players.
“The HBCU legacy helped me learn a lot of lessons and helped me appreciate how far I’ve came and also it gave me a chance to compete with the best HBCU player in the country and also do that infront of NFL scouts so it was great!”
