The 6’10 Forward from Maine, Milos Nenadic. The Forward is a sophomore at the University of Maine, Nenadic is very solid at getting rebounds and is a very consistent shooter as well. Let’s take a look at the 2021-2022 season.
Milos Nenadic would start 2 games. Nenadic would be on the court for around 96 minutes, The forward would appear in 15 games. Nenadic would attempt 32 FGs while only landing 14 of them. (14-32) With a PCT of .438. Nenadic is very good at free throws, going (3-5) on the season is very solid. The 6’10 forward is great at getting rebounds, 12 offensive and 14 defensive rebounds an overall total of 26 on the season. Milos and I talk about his first season, Nenadic would say “My first season was a great experience. Being a new player and being younger than most all of my teammates at 17 years old, was definitely a new learning environment and it was an adjustment from high school. There's a lot of flexibility required to be a student athlete, and especially in my case because I'm a mechanical engineering major, I had to adjust to this new level. The entire season for me was about constantly getting better and continuing to improve my game. Something I remember so clearly is the first time I stepped onto the court in a D1 basketball game, this was against Virginia Tech who was hosting us in non-conference. I scored an and 1 alley-oop, and after making my free throw with all of their fans booing me I couldn't help but smile, knowing this was the start of an exciting year.”
Heading into the second season of Nenadic’s career, Nenadic would attempt 25 FGs and land 8 of those (8-25) However, He was still great at getting rebounds. In the 2022-2023 season the 6’10 forward would have 8 Offensive rebounds and 10 defensive rebounds an overall total of 18. I talk with the forward and I wanted to know what he is going to continue to work on heading into the offseason. Nenadic would reply with “My plans are to train with my coaches to keep getting better and continuing to work. My coaches have plans for getting us ready for next season and we’re already starting with postseason training which will continue into the summer as well. This will enable me to get focused 1 on 1 work and further improve my game.”
