Myles Wright the Morgan State University TE/LS. Myles Wright is 6’3 240 pounds and Preformed very well in the HBCU bowl. The 6’3 Tightend/Long Snapper is looking to go to the NFL draft and hear that phone call. I started up our interview with the question What’s your draft prep like? Wright would reply with “I’m working 6 days a week in speed training, route training, and working to get my bench up for the pro day. Thanks to Jimmy sea food’s partnership with me I’m able to have a great meal play and I’m working as a mental health worker at Sheppard pratt so I’m fully invested in my future in the NFL and I’m only going to get better”
Moving forward, lets take a look at the numbers of 2022. Out of 11 games played the Tightend would rack up 7 receptions for 139 yards. Overall average numbers, Wright will continue to improve that this offseason as he said in the quote. Wright is a very good long snapper, averaging .6 and .7 a snap. I asked Wright what should teams know about what type of player he is, and Wright would say “Teams should know that I’m a hard worker, I also long snap as well as playing tightend I will work my way to the top all I need is a shot.”
Heading into the HBCU game, Wright would have some great numbers from the game. Wright would have 3 receptions for 30 yards. For a tightend that's pretty good, the 6’3 240 tightend is a very good blocker.
As we near the end of the interview, I asked him a couple more questions. One of those questions being What are you going to work on before the draft? Wright would reply with “Before the draft, I want to get my routes better they are good, but I want to be elite running routes while still blocking hood.”
To end the interview I asked Myles Wright what his future goals were. The 6’3 240 TE/LS would reply with “My future goals is to make sure my family is good and to get a starting role on a team and to help win a super bowl.”
