The 28-Year-old Anthony Firker who is a tight-end has been signed by the Patriots, this is a great signing to fill in that 3rd spot on the roster. Firkser brings a great amount of experience with him, the six-foot-two-inched tight-end has played for the Tennessee Titans and the Atlanta Falcons.

About the Player: Anthony Firkser

Age: 28

Team: New England Patriots

Height and Weight: six feet two inches (6’2”) 246 pounds

Career Statics:

Firkser has seemed to be reliable for most of his career and should fit right in as a tight-end number three. Over the course of 69 games, the six-two (6’2”) TE has recorded 115 receptions for 1,207 yards with five touchdowns. Firkser earned a 59.1 overall player grade according to the PFF grading system.

Game film review:

Great hands

Good speed for a tight end

Route running could use some work

Okay at finding weakness in the coverage

Decent in run blocking

Final Thoughts:

Firkser should be a good signing, a reliable signing for sure. Low risk - high reward type of deal, the tight-end room is in a great spot for right now. The Patriots were thin to begin the 2023 off-season at tight-end but since then they have staked up on the position.
